Aftershocks felt after magnitude 7.8 Mindnao earthquake

Strong aftershocks were reported following the magnitude 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Mindanao on Monday morning.

Residents felt the aftershocks when they rushed out of their homes and remained outdoors after the earthquake, according to a report of Super Radyo General Santos’ James Plecis.

GMA News Online has asked PHIVOLCS the number and range of magnitude of the aftershocks but the agency has yet to provide information as of posting time.

Based on PHIVOLCS latest earthquake information, several tremors were recorded in Sarangani after the 7.8 magnitude earthquake. — RSJ, GMA News
