P2,000 worth of coins stolen from vending machine in Dagupan City
A man stole around P2,000 worth of coins from a vending machine of a carwash stall in Barangay Mangin in Dagupan City, Pangasinan.
According to Oscar Oida’s report in “State of the Nation” on Thursday, CCTV footage showed that the suspect checked his surroundings first before going near the vending machine.
He later destroyed the lock of the cabinet containing the coins using a fork.
“‘Yung hitsura niya po is talagang ‘yung sinungkit po siya, sira ‘yung mga bisagra niya, lahat ginawa niya nang paraan para mabuksan niya,” said “Joms”, the owner of the vending machine.
(Looking at it, it was clearly forced open; the hinges were broken. He did everything he could just to get it open.)
Meanwhile, the police said the investigation on the incident is ongoing.
“Ongoing pa ‘yung investigation natin at sana may makuhang clear na CCTV o makapagsabi kung sino talaga ang gumawa niyan,” said Dagupan City Police Station 3 Commander Police Captain Bernabe Belew.
