Magnitude 5.3 earthquake hits off Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental

A magnitude 5.3 earthquake hits off southest of Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental early Friday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported.

The quake occurred at 12:34 a.m., was tectnic in origin with a depth of 10 kilometers.

PHIVOLCS said there are no damages expected but aftershocks will occur. — BAP, GMA News
