The Philippine National Police (PNP) Regional Office III has arrested three individuals over the death of a man who was found in an abandoned SUV at Nueva Ecija last week.

According to Mariz Umali’s report on Balitanghali, authorities arrested Aldrin Torres, Andrea Mones, and Aaron Justin Manuel.

The regional office identified Manuel as the alleged gunman behind the killing.

Police confirmed that the bullet recovered from the crime scene was from a revolver that was confiscated from Manuel, according to the report.

The investigation, meanwhile, identified Mones as the mastermind behind the killing.

The victim was supposed to talk to Mones prior to the incident.

Meanwhile, police are also looking into an alleged debt to the victim.

The PNP has identified the victim as Korean national Shin Bongsub, 37, whose body was discovered in Barangay Pias, General Tinio on June 17.

Bongsub was last seen alive in Clark, Pampanga.

According to the report, investigators monitored his vehicle’s movement from Pampanga to Nueva Ecija through CCTV footage. Authorities also recovered the getaway vehicle used by the suspects.

The victim lived in Angeles City and was a distributor of korean beauty products.
