A 14-year-old student lost consciousness after being hit by a 17-year-old wearing a brass knuckle in Sta. Barbara, Iloilo, GMA Regional TV's Zen Quilantang-Sasa reported on "Saksi."

The CCTV captured students crossing the street, including a student who stumbled and fell after being hit by another student. The suspect then swiftly left the scene.

The incident occurred near a High School last Friday in Sta. Barbara in Iloilo.

The victim is a 14-year-old Grade 9 student who was on his way home from school. He lost consciousness in the middle of the road because the student who hit him used a brass knuckle.

The victim suffered a wound near the mouth, also had a head injury from a fall.

The GMA News team interviewed "Nonoy (not his real name)" and his family.

"I only found out I was punched when my classmate said that's why I fainted because I was punched," said Nonoy.

"My vision went black. When I woke up, we were at the Health Center," he added.

The suspect is his 17-year-old classmate.

During the confrontation with the Lupon or board, the suspect was allegedly instructed by another student who claimed to have been bullied by the victim.

According to the victim, he had a fight with someone before but he just retaliated.

"He opened my bag and sprayed my perfume. He teased me that it smelled bad and was fake. He said he was just following an order, so I pushed him," Nonoy said.

The GMA News team went to the residence of the suspect but there was no one in the area.

The victim's family is determined to file a complaint. They are also ready to discipline the victim if proven to be a bully.

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development office is handling the case.

The police advised students to refer their problems to their teacher or advisers.

"So, don't do things that will hurt fellow students," said Police Lt. Col. Christopher Juarez, deputy chief Sta. Barbara MPS. — BAP, GMA News
