Three minors, who were collecting clams, drowned in a pit in Laguna De Bay, according to a report in "Saksi."

The children were collecting the clams until they reached an excavated part of the shore.

The female friends, aged 13 and 12, were found hugging each other while the 6-year-old boy was found not far from their location.

The families of the victims have asked that the excavation site be filled up.
