Student, father fall from improvised raft while crossing river in Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro

A student and her father fell from an improvised styrofoam raft while crossing a river in Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro, according to a report in "Saksi."

They were on their way home and had to cross the river that was already overflowing after classes were cancelled due to bad weather.

The video uploader said the student and her father were able to cross safely, but the school supplies of the student were drenched.
