DOJ breaks ground for new building in Northern Mindanao
The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Tuesday announced that a groundbreaking ceremony was held for a new multi-purpose building complex in Tubod, Lanao del Norte.
According to the DOJ, Justice Secretary Fredderick Vida led the groundbreaking ceremony on July 3 for the new structure that will rise in Kakai Renabor, Tubod.
"May this building forever stand as a symbol of what is possible when government works as one — guided by integrity, united by purpose, and committed to serving the Filipino people," Vida said in a statement.
The department said the new facility will help improve service delivery, enhance work efficiency, and expand access to justice for residents of the province.
Vida was joined by 1st District Representative Imelda "Angging" Quibranza Dimaporo, Vice Governor Allan Lim, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Board Member Maria Cristina Atay, Acting Provincial Engineer Joseph Apat, Region X Regional Prosecutor Merlynn Barola Uy and Lanao del Norte Provincial Prosecutor Nur Jaypha Baraman-Asum.
"Your generosity will leave a legacy that will endure long after this ceremony, benefiting not only those who work here, but every citizen who seeks justice," Vida said. — VDV, GMA News
