Man in Tacloban sued for allegedly molesting dog

A 50-year-old man in Tacloban City is facing charges for allegedly molesting a dog.

The incident happened at the complaint's house in Barangay 69, Anibong.

According to the police, the man was invited to the complainant’s house for a drink and in the middle of drinking, the man excused himself to go to the restroom.

Moments later, residents of the house heard cries from their pet Dachshund.

They then checked and caught the suspect in the act of sexually assaulting the dog.

The police said the Dachshund sustained injuries in its genital area.

The suspect is facing charges for violation of the Animal Welfare Act of 1998. —GMA Regional TV News
