Localized thunderstorms trigger flooding in parts of Mindanao

Several areas in Mindanao were flooded due to the effects of localized thunderstorms.

A landslide also occurred in Arakan, Cotabato, which prevented large vehicles from passing through.

Motorcycles also struggled to get through as soil debris and tree branches blocked the road.

Several areas in Maguindanao del Sur were also flooded, including the town of Buluan, where floodwaters entered several houses.

In Datu Paglas, floodwaters reached almost knee-deep levels along some roads.

Meanwhile, a school in Pandag town was inundated, with floodwaters surrounding the school premises.
