Man in Iloilo who allegedly sold sex videos with minors arrested
A 29-year-old man in Iloilo City landed in jail for allegedly selling videos of him having sex with minors.
He was arrested at a boarding house in Mandurriao, Iloilo City after one year of monitoring.
The suspect is a resident of the city and does not have a stable job. He would reportedly hop from one boarding house to another every two months.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant after three minor complainants sought help from authorities.
According to the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit - 6, the suspect would reportedly go to bars and look for minor girls he could lure to have sex with him in exchange for money.
He would then bring the girls to his boarding house where they would have sex and where he would take a video of their “intimate moments.”
Without the girls’ knowledge, the suspect would upload and sell the videos online on an adult website.
RACU-6 said that even if the girls consented to have the videos taken, the same is still illegal because they are minors.
The suspect is facing charges for violation of the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children law and the Anti-Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Materials law. —Kim Salinas, GMA Regional TV News
