NGCP: Red alert over Mindanao Grid lifted, yellow alert remains

The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) announced that the Red Alert for the Mindanao Grid has been lifted.

The NGCP lifted the red alert of 7 p.m. on Monday. However, the Mindanao grid is still on yellow alert until 10 p.m..

"A yellow alert is issued when the operating margin is insufficient to meet the transmission grid's contingency requirement," the NGCP added. — BAP, GMA News
