Faithful attended Sunday mass despite flooded chapel in Masantol, Pampanga

The residents of Sitio Iscundo, Masantol in Pampanga attended a mass to celebrate the feast day of San Roque inside a flooded chapel.

The photos posted by CBCP News showed the priest-celebrant Fr. Kristian Rei Cayanan in knee deep floodwaters and some devotees inside the chapel.

Masantol, Pampanga Mayor Danilo S. Guintu had declared on Sunday that classes are suspended due to the effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and existing flooding and high level of tides. — BAP, GMA News
