5 Pinoy, pasok sa '30 Under 30 Asia' list of young entrepreneurs ng Forbes

Limang Pinoy ang nakapasok sa "30 Under 30 Asia" list ng Forbes ngayong taon para makasama sa tinagurian nilang "brightest young entrepreneurs, innovators and game changers" sa rehiyon.

Ang pinakabata sa listahan ng mga Pinoy ay ang 21-anyos na si Shahab Shabibi, co-founder ng Machine Ventures.

Kasama rin sina Carl Ocab, 23, founder ng Carl Ocab Internet Marketing Services, at Gian Scottie Javelona, 24, founder ng OrangeApps.

Pasok din sa listahan ang founder ng SkyEye Analytics na si Matthew Cua, 28, at ang co-founder and COO ng Growthsolutions Inc. na si Maricor Bunal, 29.

"This year’s Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list highlights the diversity of talent in this vast region, with 300 impressive young entrepreneurs from all walks of life pushing the boundaries of innovation," ayon kay Forbes Media Asia Senior Digital Editor Rana Wehbe.

"It’s fascinating to see how these millennials are using technology to disrupt their industries, empower their communities and overcome cultural barriers," dagdag niya.

Ayon sa Forbes, hinanap at inilista ng kanilang mga reporter ang mga nominado hanggang sa mapili ng mga hurado na kinabibilangan ng shoe designer na si Jimmy Choo, chef George Calombaris, rugby player Sonny Bill Williams at Malaysian singer and songwriter Yuna.

Kasama rin sa mga naging hurado sina Hiroshi Mikitani ng Rakuten, Misfit founder Sonny Vu, Didi Chuxing’s CEO Jean Liu, Indian philanthropist Vineet Nayar at Solina Chau, Director of Li Ka-Shing Foundation, at Kaifu Lee. —FRJ, GMA News
