China commissions new missile frigate

 

A new guided missile frigate, Xiangtan 531, was officially commissioned by the Chinese Navy on Wednesday at a military port in Zhoushan City of east China's Zhejiang Province.

Xiangtan, a new-generation missile frigate built by China, is 140 meters long and 16 meters wide, with the full-load displacement being 4,000 tons. — CCTV via Reuters
