British Airways plane cabin fills with smoke, makes emergency landing in Valencia
Passengers and crew evacuated from a smoke-filled British Airways plane at Spain's Valencia airport on Monday (August 5) after the cabin filled with smoke.
Gayle Fitzpatrick filmed the scene on board the Airbus A321 and said on Twitter: "Our cabin filled with smoke in the last 10 minutes of flight, had to disembark via emergency chutes."

British Airways (BA) said in a statement: "We can confirm that British Airways flight BA422 from Heathrow to Valencia has been involved in an incident today."
"All customers and crew have disembarked. British Airways teams are assisting customers who are in the airport terminal," the statement said.
A total of 175 customers were on board the flight, with six cabin crew and two pilots, according to BA. Three customers were taken to hospital as a precaution and have since been discharged. — Reuters
