6.6-magnitude quake hits off PNG coast, no tsunami threat to PH —Phivolcs

A 6.6-magnitude earthquake hit off the north coast of Papua New Guinea, Phivolcs said Sunday evening, adding that no tsunami threat to the Philippines has been detected.
According to the monitoring agency, the quake hit at 11:06 p.m. Philippines time, striking off the coast of PNG at a depth of 53 kilometers.
