Bahrain briefly shuts airspace after Iranian attack on US airbase in Qatar

CAIRO, Egypt - Bahrain said on Monday that it has shut down its airspace temporarily as a "precaution" after Iran attacked the Al Udeid US military base in Doha.

The shut down has been lifted, the Bahrian News Agency reported.

Bahrain is home to the headquarters of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet, whose area of responsibility includes the Gulf, Red Sea, Arabian Sea and parts of the Indian Ocean. — Reuters
