Ex-DPWH Usec. Bernardo to testify in Bong Revilla bail hearing on flood control case

State witness and former Public Works Undersecretary Roberto Bernardo will testify before the bail hearing of former Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Jr. and his five other co-accused in the malversation case involving the alleged P92.8 million ghost flood control project in Pandi, Bulacan today, April 24.

This developed after Dr. Warlin Basuel, the anti-graft court's resident doctor, testified that Bernardo is "clinically stable." 

The Sandiganbayan Third Division justices then asked the prosecution panel if Bernardo can take the witness stand at 2 p.m. today, April 24.

The prosecution panel responded, "Yes, your honor." 

Bernardo was supposed to testify during the same bail hearing last April 23 but was excused by the court since he was suddenly confined in the hospital due to bronchitis and other related illnesses. — Llanesca T. Panti/RSJ, GMA News
