People rescued after bus falls into river Seine near Paris

PARIS — A bus fell into the river Seine near Paris on Thursday, officials said, adding that the four people on board—the driver, a tutor and two passengers—had been rescued and were now safe and sound.

The bus fell into the Seine in Juvisy-sur-Orge, south of Paris, the transport authority for the Ile-de-France region said. Later in the morning, the bus could still be seen floating in the Seine, close to the riverbank. — Reuters
