Magnitude 5.8 earthquake strikes New Britain Region, Papua New Guinea, GFZ says

An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 struck the New Britain Region of Papua New Guinea on Wednesday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), GFZ said. — Reuters
