RAINFALL ALERT: Rainfall warning over Zambales lifted (Monday, 5 a.m.)

The state weather bureau has terminated the rainfall warning over Zambales on Monday morning.

PAGASA reported that the southwest monsoon (Habagat) was observed to bring light to moderate rains over the province in the last three hours.

Meanwhile, expect light to moderate with occasional heavy rains within the next 3 hours is expected over the following areas:

  • Cavite
  • Bulacan (Angat, Balagtas, Baliuag, Bocaue, Bulakan, Bustos, Calumpit, Malolos, Meycauayan, San Jose del Monte, Guiguinto, Hagonoy, Marilao, Norzagaray, Obando, Pandi, Paombong, Plaridel, Pulilan, San Ildefonso, San Rafael, Santa Maria)
  • Quezon (Sariaya, Lucena, Pagbilao, Unisan, Agdangan, Padre Burgos, San Francisco, Catanauan, Mulanay, General Luna, Pitogo, Macalelon, San Andres, San Narciso, Buenavista, Lopez)
  • Laguna (San Pedro, Santa Rosa, Binan, Cabuyao, Calamba)

Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains which may persist within 3 hours and may affect nearby areas will be affecting the following areas:

  • Zambales
  • Bataan
  • Tarlac (San Jose, Capas, Bamban)
  • Pampanga (Porac, Floridablanca, Lubao, Macabebe, Sasmuan, Masantol)
  • Metro Manila (Manila, Pasay, Paranaque, Taguig, Pasig, Makati, Mandaluyong, Pateros)
  • Batangas (Mabini, Bauan, Batangas City, Tingloy, San Pascual, Lobo, San Juan)
  • Rizal (Cainta, Taytay)

"The public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned are still advised to monitor the weather condition," PAGASA said. — BAP, GMA News
