RAINFALL ALERT: Red in parts of Bataan, yellow in Metro Manila, San Simon (Tuesday, 8 p.m.)
PAGASA raised a red rainfall warning over several areas in Bataan at 8 p.m. Tuesday, warning of serious flooding in flood-prone communities.
According to PAGASA's rainfall advisory issued at 8 p.m., covered by the red warning are the following towns in Bataan:
- Bagac,
- Morong,
- Mariveles,
- Abucay,
- Samal,
- Orani,
- Balanga and
- Hermosa.
An orange rainfall warning was issued over the following areas, where flooding remains threatening:
- Zambales (Castillejos, San Marcelino, San Narciso, San Felipe, San Antonio, Subic and Olongapo)
- Bataan (Limay, Orion, Pilar and Dinalupihan)
- Pampanga (Floridablanca, Lubao, Macabebe, Sasmuan and Masantol)
- Bulacan (Hagonoy, Paombong, Malolos and Bulakan)
A yellow rainfall warning was raised over the following areas due to possible flooding in flood-prone areas.
- Zambales(Botolan, Cabangan, Candelaria, Iba, Masinloc, Palauig, Santa Cruz),
- Pampanga(Porac, Angeles, Guagua, Santa Rita, Bacolor, Minalin, Santo Tomas, Apalit, San Simon, San Luis, Mexico, San Fernando, Mabalacat, Santa Ana),
- Tarlac (Bamban, Capas),
- Bulacan (Obando, Meycauayan, Marilao, San Jose del Monte, Norzagaray, Bocaue, Balagtas, Guiguinto, Plaridel, Calumpit, Baliuag, Bustos, Pandi, Pulilan, Santa Maria),
- Metro Manila (Navotas, Malabon, Valenzuela, Caloocan, Quezon City, Marikina, Manila, Makati, Mandaluyong, San Juan, Pasay, Pateros, Pasig), Rizal(Rodriguez, Antipolo, San Mateo, Cainta, Taytay, Tanay, Baras),
- Cavite (Ternate, Maragondon, Naic, Tanza, Rosario, Noveleta, Cavite City, Kawit, General Trias, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Magallanes, Trece Martires) and
- Batangas (Nasugbu, Lian).
Expect light to moderate rain with occasional heavy rains over Real, General Nakar and Infanta in Quezon within the next 3 hours.
Light to moderate rain with occasional heavy rains are affecting in the following areas and may persist for the next three hours and may affect nearby areas.
- Tarlac (Concepcion, Anao, Tarlac City, Gerona, La Paz, Paniqui, Pura, Ramos, San Manuel, Victoria, Camiling, Mayantoc, Moncada, San Clemente, San Jose, Santa Ignacia),
- Nueva Ecija (Nampicuan, Cuyapo, Guimba, Licab, Zaragoza, San Antonio, Cabiao),
- Pampanga (Magalang, Arayat, Candaba),
- Bulacan (San Miguel, San Ildefonso, Doña Remedios Trinidad, San Rafael, Angat),
- Batangas(Calatagan, Balayan, Tuy, Calaca),
- Cavite (Alfonso, Amadeo, Indang, Mendez, Tagaytay, Silang, Gen. Mariano Alvarez, Carmona, Dasmarinas, Bacoor, Imus),
- Laguna (San Pedro, Binan),
- Metro Manila (Parañaque, Taguig, Muntinlupa, Las Piñas) and
- Rizal (Angono, Cardona, Binangonan, Morong, Teresa).
Meanwhile, a yellow rainfall warning was raised over parts of Zambales, Pampanga, Tarlac, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite and Batangas due to possible flooding in flood-prone areas.
The Metro Manila areas covered by the yellow warning are Navotas, Malabon, Valenzuela, Caloocan, Quezon City, Marikina, Manila, Makati, Mandaluyong, San Juan, Pasay, Pateros and Pasig.
Light to moderate rains, with occasional heavy rains, may also affect Real, General Nakar and Infanta in Quezon within the next three hours.
The same conditions were affecting other parts of Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bulacan, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Metro Manila and Rizal. These may persist for three hours and spread to nearby areas.
