Cloudy skies, rains to prevail over Luzon, Visayas amid Habagat

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will continue to bring cloudy skies and rains over Luzon and the Visayas in the next 24 hours, PAGASA said in its Wednesday morning forecast.

Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Cavite, Batangas, and Occidental Mindoro will experience occasional rains, while Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, Aklan, and Antique will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected over the rest of the Visayas.

Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will prevail over the Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora due to the trough of tropical cyclone Krovanh.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains or severe thunderstorms.

Winds will be light to moderate across the country, with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:45 a.m., while sunset is expected at 6:02 p.m. — VBL, GMA News
