RAINFALL ALERT: Orange in Bataan, parts of Metro Manila, Bulacan, Zambales (Wednesday, 8 a.m.)
PAGASA raised the orange rainfall warning at 8 a.m. over Bataan and parts of Metro Manila, Bulacan, and Zambales on Wednesday morning due to heavy rains brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
ORANGE WARNING LEVEL: Flooding is still threatening:
Bataan
Metro Manila (Valenzuela, Caloocan, Malabon, Quezon City, Navotas, Manila, Mandaluyong, San Juan, Marikina)
Bulacan (Obando)
Zambales (San Antonio, Olongapo, Castillejos, Subic)
YELLOW RAINFALL WARNING: Flooding in flood-prone areas:
- Metro Manila (Las Pinas, Muntinlupa, Paranaque, Taguig, Makati, Pasig, Pasay, Pateros)
- Bulacan (Bocaue, Balagtas, Bulakan, Guiguinto, Malolos, Paombong, Hagonoy, San Jose del Monte, Marilao, Meycauayan)
- Pampanga (Masantol, Macabebe, Sasmuan, Lubao, Floridablanca)
- Zambales (Botolan, Cabangan, Candelaria, Iba, Masinloc, Palauig, Santa Cruz, San Felipe, San Marcelino, San Narciso)
- Rizal (San Mateo, Rodriguez)
- Cavite (Bacoor, Cavite City, Imus, Kawit, Noveleta)
- Tarlac (San Jose)
Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are to be expected over the following areas which may persist within the next three hours, PAGASA said:
- Quezon
- Laguna
- Nueva Ecija (Cuyapo, Cabiao, Gapan, General Tinio, San Antonio, San Isidro, Aliaga, Bongabon, Cabanatuan, Gabaldon, General Mamerto Natividad, Guimba, Jaen, Laur, Licab, Llanera, Nampicuan, Palayan, Peñaranda, Quezon, Rizal, San Leonardo, Santa Rosa, Santo Domingo, Muñoz, Talavera, Talugtug, Zaragoza)
Meanwhile, the following areas are experiencing light to moderate with occasional heavy rains which may persist within three hours and affect nearby areas:
- Pampanga (Guagua, Santa Rita, Porac, Minalin, Apalit)
- Tarlac (San Clemente, Mayantoc, Capas, Bamban, Moncada, Camiling, Santa Ignacia, Gerona, Paniqui, Tarlac City)
- Cavite (Tagaytay)
- Batangas (Tanauan, Talisay, Laurel)
- Rizal (Antipolo, Cainta, Taytay, Baras, Morong, Teresa, Angono, Cardona, Binangonan)
- Bulacan (Santa Maria, Norzagaray, Angat, Baliuag, Bustos, Calumpit, Pandi, Plaridel, Pulilan)
PAGASA advised the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned to monitor the weather condition.
