RAINFALL ALERT: Yellow in Bataan, parts of Metro Manila, 3 other areas (Wednesday, 11 a.m.)

PAGASA raised the yellow rainfall warning over Bataan, and parts of Metro Manila and three other areas on Wednesday at 11 a.m. due to heavy rains from the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

YELLOW WARNING LEVEL (Flooding in flood-prone areas):

• Bataan
• Metro Manila (Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela, Quezon City, Makati, Mandaluyong, San Juan, Pasay, Marikina, Manila)
• Rizal (Rodriguez, San Mateo)
• Zambales (Olongapo, Subic, Castillejos, San Marcelino, San Narciso, San Antonio, Iba, Botolan, Cabangan, Palauig, San Felipe, Masinloc, Candelaria)
• Bulacan (Meycauayan, Obando)
• Pampanga (Floridablanca, Lubao)

Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains meanwhile are expected within the next three hours over the following areas:

• Laguna
• Rizal (Antipolo, Tanay, Angono, Baras, Binangonan, Cainta, Cardona, Jala-Jala, Morong, Pililla, Taytay, Teresa)
• Bulacan (Norzagaray, San Jose del Monte, Guiguinto, Angat, Baliuag, Bustos, Calumpit, Doña Remedios Trinidad, Pandi, Plaridel, Pulilan, San Ildefonso, San Miguel, San Rafael, Balagtas, Bocaue, Santa Maria, Bulakan, Malolos, Hagonoy, Paombong, Marilao)
• Tarlac (Concepcion, Bamban, Capas, Tarlac City, Gerona, La Paz, Pura, Victoria, Camiling, Mayantoc, San Clemente, San Jose, Santa Ignacia, Moncada, Anao, Ramos, Paniqui)
• Batangas (Agoncillo, Alitagtag, Balayan, Balete, Batangas City, Calaca, Calatagan, Tanauan, Cuenca, Ibaan, Laurel, Lemery, Lian, Lobo, Malvar, Mataasnakahoy, Nasugbu, Padre Garcia, Rosario, San Jose, San Nicolas, San Pascual, Santa Teresita, Santo Tomas, Taal, Talisay, Taysan, Tingloy, Tuy, Lipa, Mabini, Bauan, San Luis)
• Quezon (Dolores, San Antonio, General Nakar, Infanta, Real, Tiaong)

PAGASA also said the following areas are experiencing light to moderate with occasional heavy rains which may persist within three hours and affect nearby areas:

• Nueva Ecija (General Tinio, Palayan, Bongabon, Laur, Rizal, Gabaldon)
• Zambales (Santa Cruz)
• Pampanga (Angeles, Porac, Sasmuan, Guagua)
• Cavite (Bacoor, Cavite City, Imus, Kawit, Noveleta)
• Metro Manila (Las Piñas, Parañaque)

PAGASA advised the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned to monitor the weather condition.
