RAINFALL ALERT: Yellow in parts of Zambales, Bataan (Thursday, 5 a.m.)

PAGASA raised the yellow alert in parts of Bataan and Zambales at 5 a.m. on Thursday due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Yellow Warning Level (Flooding in flood-prone areas)

• Zambales (Olongapo, Subic, Botolan, San Marcelino, Cabangan, Iba, Masinloc, Palauig, Castillejos, San Antonio, San Felipe, San Narciso)
• Bataan(Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Morong, Orani, Samal)

Meanwhile, PAGASA said to expect light to moderate with occasional heavy rains over Zambales(Santa Cruz, Candelaria), Batangas(Nasugbu, Lian, Tuy, Balayan, Calatagan, Calaca, Laurel, Talisay, Lemery), Laguna(San Pedro, Binan, Santa Rosa, Cabuyao, Calamba) and Nueva Ecija(San Antonio, Cabiao, San Isidro, Gapan) within the next three hours.

Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains will affect Pampanga, Metro Manila, Bataan(Abucay, Bagac, Balanga, Limay, Mariveles, Orion, Pilar), Bulacan(San Miguel, San Ildefonso, Hagonoy, Paombong, Calumpit, Pulilan, Malolos, Plaridel, Baliuag, Guiguinto, Bulakan, Balagtas, Bocaue, Marilao, Meycauayan, Obando, San Rafael, Bustos, Pandi), Cavite(Bacoor, Imus, Kawit, Cavite City, Noveleta, General Trias, Rosario, Tanza, Naic, Ternate, Maragondon), Rizal(Cainta, Taytay, Angono, Binangonan, Cardona) and Tarlac(San Jose, Capas, Bamban, Concepcion) which may persist within three hours and may affect nearby areas.

PAGASA said the public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned are advised to monitor the weather conditions and watch for the next warning to be issued at 8 a.m. Thursday.—LDF, GMA News
