RAINFALL ALERT: Yellow in parts of Zambales (Thursday, 11 a.m.)

PAGASA on Thursday issued a yellow rainfall warning over parts of Zambales due to the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.

In its 11 a.m. advisory, PAGASA said the following areas are under a rainfall warning:

Yellow rainfall warning (Flooding in flood-prone areas)

• Zambales (Botolan, Cabangan, Iba, Masinloc, Palauig, Candelaria, Santa Cruz, San Felipe, San Narciso, San Marcelino)

Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains within the next 3 hours are expected over:

• Bulacan
• Metro Manila
• Rizal
• Quezon
• Laguna
• Cavite
• Batangas
• Zambales (Olongapo, Subic, Castillejos, San Antonio)

PAGASA also said that light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are affecting:

• Pampanga(Lubao, Mabalacat, Angeles, Porac, Floridablanca)
• Bataan (Orani, Samal, Hermosa, Dinalupihan)
• Tarlac (San Clemente, Mayantoc, Bamban)
• Nueva Ecija (General Tinio)
