RAINFALL ALERT: Yellow in Zambales, Bataan (Thursday, 5 p.m.)

State weather bureau PAGASA on Thursday afternoon issued a yellow rainfall warning over Zambales and Bataan due to the Southwest Monsoon, or Habagat.

In its 5 p.m. advisory, PAGASA said the following areas are under a rainfall warning:

Yellow rainfall warning (Flooding in flood-prone areas)

• Zambales
• Bataan

Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains within the next 3 hours are expected over:

• Batangas
• Cavite

PAGASA said that light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are currently affecting:

• Laguna (Victoria, Calauan, Nagcarlan, Rizal, San Pablo, San Pedro, Biñan)
• Quezon (Dolores, Tiaong, Candelaria, General Nakar, Calauag, Tagkawayan, Guinayangan)
• Rizal (Cardona, Binangonan, Taytay, Angono, Rodriguez, Tanay, Pililla)
• Metro Manila (Quezon City)
• Bulacan (Norzagaray, Dona Remedios Trinidad, San Jose del Monte)
• Nueva Ecija (General Tinio, Cabanatuan, Palayan, Lupao, Talugtug, San Jose, Talavera, Llanera, Rizal)
• Tarlac (Moncada, Paniqui, Gerona, Tarlac City, Capas, Bamban)
• Pampanga (Porac, Angeles, Floridablanca, Mabalacat)
