THUNDERSTORM ADVISORY: Moderate to heavy rains over parts of Bataan, Cavite, 4 other areas (Monday, 1:48a.m.)

Moderate to heavy rains expected over parts of Bataan, Cavite, and four other areas the state weather bureau PAGASA reported in a Thunderstorm Advisory issued early Monday morning.

Moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected within the next 2 hours over the following areas:

• Bataan (Bagac, Orion, and Pilar)
• Cavite (Naic, Maragondon, Ternate, Tanza, General Trias, and Rosario)
• Nueva Ecija (Jaen, Santa Rosa, Aliaga, Zaragoza, and Guimba)
• Quezon (Mauban)
• Tarlac (Mayantoc, San Clemente, and San Jose)
• Zambales (Santa Cruz)

PAGASA also said the above condition is affecting Bataan (Limay and Mariveles) which may persist within 2 hours.

"All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides," the agency added. — BAP, GMA News
