THUNDERSTORM ADVISORY: Moderate to heavy rain showers over Metro Manila, 5 areas (Wednesday, 2:30 a.m.)

Moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds are expected in the early hours of the morning on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its thunderstorm advisory issued at 2:40 a.m., the following areas are affected within the next two hours:

• Bataan (Morong, Orani, Samal, Abucay, Pilar, Orion, Balanga, Limay, and Mariveles)
• Batangas (Bauan, San Pascual, Batangas City, Lian, Balayan, Calaca, San Luis, Taal, Lemery, Santa Teresita, San Nicolas, Alitagtag, Agoncillo, Lobo, Nasugbu, Tuy, San Jose, Cuenca, and Ibaan)
• Bulacan (Bulakan, Guiguinto, Calumpit, Obando, Marilao, Meycauayan, Bocaue, Balagtas, San Jose del Monte, Santa Maria, and Malolos)
• Metro Manila (Valenzuela, Quezon City, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Marikina, Manila, Pasig, Makati, and Pateros)
• Pampanga (Macabebe, Sasmuan, Minalin, and Apalit), Quezon (General Luna, Catanauan, Mulanay, and San Francisco)
• Zambales (San Antonio, Olongapo, Cabangan, San Felipe, San Narciso, Subic, Castillejos, and San Marcelino)

PAGASA said the above condition is affecting Batangas (Tingloy, Mabini, and Calatagan), Bulacan (Paombong and Hagonoy), Metro Manila (Malabon, Navotas, and Caloocan), and Pampanga (Masantol), which may persist for two hours.
