Rains over eastern Visayas, Mindanao due to trough of tropical depression

The trough of tropical depression outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility will bring rains over the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao, according to PAGASA.

As of 3 a.m. on Wednesday, the tropical depression is located 1,920 kilometers east of southeastern Luzon, moving northwestward at 25 kilometers per hour and with maximum winds of 55 km/h.

In its latest weather forecast, PAGASA said Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Oriental, Misamis Oriental. and Camiguin will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the trough of the tropical depression.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
