THUNDERSTORM ADVISORY: Heavy to intense rains over Bataan, 5 other areas (Tuesday, 8:20 p.m.)

In the Thunderstorm Advisory No. 10 for NCR posted by PAGASA issued at 8:20 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2026 stated that heavy to intense rains are expected over Bataan and five other areas.

Heavy to intense rain showers with lightning and strong winds within the next 2 hours are expected over the following areas:

• Bataan (Orani, Samal, Abucay, Balanga, Hermosa, and Pilar)
• Bulacan (Hagonoy)
• Nueva Ecija (Pantabangan, Bongabon, Gabaldon, Laur, Rizal, Lupao, San Jose, General Tinio, and Palayan)
• Pampanga (Masantol, Macabebe, Sasmuan, Lubao, Mabalacat, Angeles, and Porac)
• Quezon (San Narciso, San Andres, San Francisco, Mulanay, Buenavista, Catanauan, Guinayangan, Tagkawayan, and General Nakar)
• Tarlac (Bamban)

Moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds are affecting Nueva Ecija (Carranglan) which may persist within 2 hours.

"All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides. Keep monitoring for updates," said PAGASA.
