Light to moderate rain expected over north Luzon islands – PAGASA
PAGASA's Sunday morning forecast predicted that the northeast monsoon would be affecting northern Luzon, and that eastern Mindanao would be under the influence of the easterlies.
Cloudy conditions accompanied with light to moderate rain could thus be expected over the Batanes and Babuyan Islands; with partly cloudy to cloudy conditions accompanied with isolated rain expected over the Ilocos and Cordillera Administrative Regions, and the rest of the Cagayan Valley Region.
The Caraga and Davao Regions would meanwhile be cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, with partly cloudy to cloudy conditions accompanied with isolated rainshowers expected over the rest of the country.
Winds would be strong from the northeast over the northern and western sections of northern Luzon, where coastal waters would be rough.
Over the eastern sections of the country, winds would be moderate to strong from the east to northeast with moderate to rough surrounding sea conditions.
Finally, winds over the rest of the country would be light ot moderate from the northeast with slight to moderate coastal waters. — DVM, GMA News
