The tail-end of a cold front will be affecting the Bicol region and eastern Visayas while the northeast monsoon will be affecting the rest of Luzon, PAGASA reported in an early morning forecast.

The Bicol Region and eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by the tail-end of a cold front. The weather bureau advised residents to monitor for flash floods and landslides that may occur due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Cagayan Valley Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains brought about by the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. PAGASA reported also the possibility of flash floods during severe thunderstorms.

Northern and eastern sections of Luzon and the eastern section of Mindanao will have strong winds moving northeastward while coastal waters will be rough.

The rest of Luzon, the Visayas and the eastern section of Mindanao will have moderate to strong wind moving northeastward with coastal waters that are slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
