Cloudy Thursday for Metro Manila


The effects of the ridge of a High Pressure Area will be felt in extreme northern Luzon, according to the early Thursday morning forecast of PAGASA.

Palawan, the Visayas and Mindanao regions will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers brought about by localized thunderstorms. The weather bureau warned that flash floods are possible in these areas during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies.

The wind forecast in the eastern sections of southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao is moderate moving northeastward as coastal waters will be moderate.

The wind speed in central and northern Luzon will be moderate moving in the east to southeast direction. Coastal waters in these areas will be moderate.

For the rest of the country, wind speed will be light to moderate moving in the northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
