Entire PHL to feel effects of easterlies
The effects of the easterlies will be felt in the entire country on Thursday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, central Luzon and Mindanao partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. The weather bureau warned that flash floods are possible during severe thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies due to the easterlies.
The wind speed in extreme northern Luzon is moderate to occasionally strong moving east to southeast with moderate to occasionally rough coastal waters.
The eastern section of the country will have moderate to occasionally strong wind speed moving in the northeast to east direction. Coastal waters in the area will be moderate to occasionally rough.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to east direction with slight to moderate coastal waters. — BAP, GMA News
