Monday night rain in QC could fill 5,000 Olympic-sized swimming pools —PAGASA

The rains that fell in Quezon City from midnight to 4 a.m. on Tuesaday could fill more than 5,000 Olympic-sized swimming pools, the weather bureau PAGASA has said.

According to Tina Panganiban-Perez's report on "24 Oras", other areas also suffered flooding due to the heavy rains in Metro Manila.

These include Navotas, Malabon, Valenzuela, Manila, Mandaluyong and San Juan.

In Quezon City, flood waters reached the roofs of some houses.

Motorists had poor visibility as the heavy rains hit around midnight. —NB, GMA News
