Amihan to bring scattered rains over Eastern Visayas, Caraga


Eastern Visayas and the Caraga region will have cloudy skies with scattered rains on Monday due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan), PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.

Flash floods or landslides may possibly occur during times of heavy rainfall.

The monsoon will also bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, the rest of Visayas, Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque, Romblon, and Oriental Mindoro.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Amihan.

Coastal waters will be rough over the seaboards of the northern section of Luzon and the eastern sections of the country. Wave height in these areas may reach as much as 4.1 meters.

Meanwhile, coastal waters in the rest of the country will be moderate to rough, with waves ranging from 1.2 to 4.1 meters tall.
