Cloudy skies with light rains in Batanes, Cagayan, Babuyan Group of Islands due to northeast monsoon
The northeast monsoon will be affecting northern Luzon on Thursday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Batanes and Cagayan including the Babuyan Group of Islands will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also brought about by the northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms and, the weather bureau warned that flash floods may occur during severe thunderstorms.
For the northern section of northern Luzon, the forecast wind speed is strong and moving in the northeast direction while coastal waters will be rough.
For the rest of northern Luzon, the forecast wind speed is moderate to strong moving eastward while coastal waters will remain moderate to rough.
The forecast wind speed for the rest of the country will be slight to moderate and moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate. — BAP, GMA News
