Cloudy skies, isolated light rains in Metro Manila due to the northeast monsoon
The northeast monsoon will be affecting northern and central Luzon on Tuesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque and Oriental Mindoro will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also brought about by the northeast monsoon.
Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. The weather bureau warns that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
The forecast wind speed in northern Luzon and the eastern section of Luzon is moderate to strong and moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
For the rest of the country, the forecast wind speed is slight to moderate moving northeastward while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate. -- BAP, GMA News
