Red rainfall warning up over Occidental Mindoro, Northern Palawan
State weather bureau PAGASA raised the red rainfall warning at 11 a.m. on Sunday over Occidental Mindoro and Northern Palawan due to Super Typhoon Rolly (international name: Goni).
The low-lying areas in these provinces may have serious flooding, and landslides may occur in mountainous areas.
The yellow rainfall warning meanwhile was raised at 11 a.m. over the northern portion of Samar, the northern portion of Eastern Samar, and Biliran Island.
PAGASA said flooding is possible in the low-lying areas, and landslides in mountainous areas.
Meanwhile, the yellow rainfall warning was also issued at 11 a.m. over Aklan, Capiz, northern portion of Iloilo, and the northern portion of Antique.

PAGASA also raised the orange rainfall warning over parts of Quezon Province at 11 a.m.
Affected areas are: Gumaca, Pitogo, San Narciso, San Francisco, San Andres, Mulanay, Buenavista, Catanauan, Tagkawayan, Guinayangan, Calauag, Lopez, General Luna, Macalelon, Perez, Quezon, Alabat, Atimonan, Padre Burgos, Agdangan, Plaridel, and Unisan.
Flooding is threatening in these areas.

The yellow rainfall warning on the other hand was raised at 11 a.m. over other parts of Quezon: General Nakar, Infanta, Real, Panukulan, Burdeos, Polilio, Patnanungan, Jomalig, Mauban, Sampaloc, Lucban, Tayabas, Pagbilao, Lucena, Sariaya, Candelaria, Dolores, Tiaong, and San Antonio.
PAGASA warned of possible flooding in flood-prone areas in those under the yellow rainfall warning.
Metro Manila, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas and Rizal, meanwhile, are experiencing light to moderate with occasional heavy rains as of 11 a.m.
PAGASA urged the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned to monitor the weather condition and await the 2 p.m. advisory. —KG, GMA News
