Tornado hits Isabela

Several residents in the municipality of Tumauini in Isabela were rattled as a tornado hit the province on Monday.

A video of the tornado was captured by Romnick Nain.

"Nataranta po kami. Nagpatay-sindi rin ang power ng ISELCO at tsaka may naputol na kable ng kuryente at nag-brownout nang mahigit isang oras din," Nain said.

The tornado lasted for almost an hour.

No injuries and damages were reported.

According to PAGASA, a tornado usually forms when there is a high concentration of low thunderstorm clouds that interact with the ground surface.
