LPA to bring rain over Sorsogon, 7 other areas —PAGASA
A low pressure-area (LPA) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Sorsogon, Masbate, Romblon, Palawan, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, BARMM, and Visayas, PAGASA said Sunday.
As of 3 p.m., the LPA was located 30 km west-northwest of Catarman, Northern Samar, according to the weather bureau's 4 p.m. weather report.
PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides from moderate to at times heavy rains in areas affected by the LPA.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Residents were warned against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, wind speed forecast for the western section of the country is light to moderate moving southwest to south, while coastal waters will be slight to moderate, with waves ranging from 0.8 to 2.1 meters high.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speeds moving in the southeast to southwest, while coastal waters will be slight, with waves ranging from 0.8 to 2.1 meters high. —LBG, GMA News
