Thunderstorm warning up over Metro Manila, 10 provinces Friday

Metro Manila and 10 provinces may experience thunderstorms Friday afternoon, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

In an advisory issued at 11:55 a.m., PAGASA said aside from Metro Manila, moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds are expected within the next two to three hours over:

•  Zambales
• Pampanga
• Tarlac
• Cavite
• Bulacan
• Batangas
• Nueva Ecija
• Rizal
• Laguna, and
• Quezon.

PAGASA said moderate and heavy rain showers are being experienced in Bagac and Mariveles in Bataan which may persist within two hours and may affect nearby areas.

Affected residents are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards, including flash floods and landslides.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
