ITCZ, shear line, amihan to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will being scattered rains and thunderstorms over the western section of Mindanao and Palawan as the shear line will affect the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon and the northeast monsoon (amihan) will affect Northern Luzon and the rest of Central Luzon on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.
Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Bulacan, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to heavy rains.
Zamboanga del Norte and PalawanCloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountan Province, and Ifugao will have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Ilocos Region and the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region and Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon but this will have no significant impact.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon is strong to gale moving northeastward with rough to very rough coastal waters.
The rest of Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction with moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
