Cloudy skies, rain showers over PH due to 2 weather systems
The Southwesterly Windflow affecting the western section of Luzon while the Frontal System will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over the eastern section of Northern Luzon on Friday, PAGASA reported.
Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Central Luzon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Southwesterly Windflow with flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to heavy with at times intense rains.
Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Frontal System with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to heavy with at times intense rains.
Metro Manila, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the Southwesterly Windflow with flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorm with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
The northern and eastern sections of Northern Luzon will experience moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to northwest direction with moderate coastal waters.
The rest of Luzon will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the southwest to west direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the southeast to southwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
