PAGASA raises yellow rainfall warning over Metro Manila, 10 other areas

The state weather bureau, PAGASA, has raised yellow rainfall warnings over 11 different areas in the country due to the effects of the Southwest Monsoon and a Low Pressure Area (LPA).

According to a heavy rainfall advisory on Friday, the following areas are now under the Yellow warning level:

• Metro Manila
• Cavite
• Bulacan
• Bataan
• Pampanga
• Batangas
• Laguna
• Quezon
• Rizal
• Zambales (Botolan, Cabangan, San Marcelino, San Felipe, San Narciso, San Antonio, Castillejos, Subic, Olongapo) 
• Tarlac (San Jose, Capas, Bamban)

PAGASA called for community awareness as flooding may occur in low-lying areas and near river channels.

Meanwhile, the following areas may experience light to moderate with occasional heavy rains within the next 3 hours:

Nueva Ecija, Tarlac (Concepcion, Anao, Tarlac City, Gerona, La Paz, Paniqui, Pura, Ramos, San Manuel, Victoria, Camiling, Mayantoc, Moncada, San Clemente, Santa Ignacia)

Zambales(Candelaria, Iba, Masinloc, Palauig, Santa Cruz)
