Isolated rains in Metro Manila, parts of PH due to easterlies, ITCZ

Isolated rains will continue to dampen parts of the country due to the easterlies and the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), according to PAGASA's forecast on Wednesday.

As of 2 a.m., no low pressure areas are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation, the weather bureau also said.

As a result of the easterlies, Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Benguet, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Pangasinan, Oriental Mindoro, and Marinduque will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Surigao del Sur, Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental, Sarangani, Sultan Kudarat, and Tawi-Tawi will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to ITCZ.

The rest of Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms brought about by localized thunderstorms.

Residents in these areas are warned against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
