ITCZ, Habagat to bring rains over Mindanao and Luzon
An Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will bring rains over Mindanao and parts of Luzon on Sunday, respectively, according to PAGASA's weather forecast.
Davao Region and Soccsksargen will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ affecting southern Mindanao. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly result in flash floods or landslides.
Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan may expect cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Habagat affecting the western section of Luzon. Flash floods or landslides may result due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The rest of Ilocos Region, Central Luzon, Calabarzon and Mimaropa may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may possibly occur.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may possibly result during severe thunderstorms.
Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
